Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations

When you place an order through the Services, your orders are processed immediately. For instant service orders, you may be able to cancel your orders if you contact us within one (1) hour of placing your order via email at support@citizen.co or by calling (844) 524 8493.

Due to the varying nature of processing times, we cannot guarantee that your order will be canceled. If we have not yet begun processing your order, your order may be canceled and we will refund your payment in full to the payment method you used. Once we have begun processing or completed your order, such as by submitting an application on your behalf or obtaining a benefit on your behalf, your order cannot be canceled.

Refunds

Partial refunds on your orders are available if you request a refund within seven (7) days of completing your application or form. Please see below for partial refund amounts that may be available within the seven-day refund period, depending on the nature of your order and our progress in completing it:

  • FAFSA Application: Where Citizen has begun processing the order but has not yet completed the services, we will refund 50% of your order payment. Where Citizen has completed your order, such as by submitting the application to the Department of Education, there will be no refunds.
  • EIN Application: Where Citizen has begun processing the order but has not yet completed the services, we will refund 50% of your order payment. If Citizen has completed your order, such as by submitting the application to the IRS but an EIN number has not yet issued, we will refund 50% of your order payment. Once your EIN number issues, no refunds are available.
